Commissioned Art Terms & Conditions

General Agreement
When you commission a piece of artwork, you agree to collaborate with me (the artist) on the creation of the piece. The process will be guided by the information you provide, and I will make every effort to meet your vision while maintaining my artistic style.

Deposits & Payments
A deposit of 25% is required to begin work on a commissioned piece, depending on the scope and size of the project. The remaining balance is due upon completion, before delivery of the final artwork.

Timeline & Delivery
Estimated completion times will be discussed prior to starting the commission. Please note that custom artwork can take time to complete (usually between 4-6 weeks depending on complexity and size). Deadlines can be negotiated, but rush fees may apply if a quicker turnaround is required.

Revisions
I offer a set number of revisions (usually 1-2) during the creation process. If more revisions are needed, additional fees may apply. Revisions must be requested during the specified feedback phases (e.g., after sketches or after the first draft). Major changes after the final approval may incur additional charges.

Usage & Copyright
The commissioned artwork is created for personal or commercial use as agreed upon before the start of the project. While you will hold the rights to the commissioned piece, I retain the copyright and the right to display, share, and use images of the artwork for portfolio purposes and marketing (unless otherwise agreed upon).

Cancellation Policy
If you choose to cancel the commission before work begins, your deposit will be refunded. If the work has already started, the deposit is non-refundable. In the unlikely event that I must cancel a commission due to personal reasons, your deposit will be refunded in full.

Shipping & Delivery
For physical artworks, shipping fees are additional and will be determined based on your location. I am not responsible for lost or damaged items during shipping, but I will ensure that the artwork is carefully packaged. Shipping insurance can be purchased upon request.

Communication
Communication is essential to the success of your commission. I will provide progress updates as agreed, and I ask that you respond to feedback requests within a timely manner to avoid delays in the project.
